The Brand Guidelines provide RYCM staff, volunteers, and partners with a comprehensive framework for representing the organization. This system ensures visual consistency and includes directions on logo use, color standards, typography, tone, and brand permissions.
The brands include the Full RYCM logo, Squared RYCM logo and the RYCM Podcast logo – all in the brand colors.
Refugee Youth Changemakers (RYCM) is a youth-led organization focused on empowering refugee and displaced youth across East Africa through innovation, advocacy, and grassroots leadership. Our brand reflects hope, strength, inclusivity, and action. It is crucial that all visual, written, and digital representations of RYCM uphold the integrity of our mission and visual identity.
The RYCM brand mark is made up of two elements: the logo symbol (figures in motion) and the word mark “Refugee Youth Changemakers.”
Primary Logo: Use this version on all standard communications.
Alternate Logo (Black and White): Use only for black-and-white or dark-background applications.
Usage Guidelines:
Do not alter, crop, rotate, recolor, or reconfigure the brand mark.
Use only approved files provided by RYCM.
Logos must not appear alongside unauthorized or politically sensitive symbols without written consent.
1. Full Color (Preferred Version): Blue #0277D4 logo and white background. Use on most communications and digital media.
2. Solid Black Version: Used only when printing in black and white. All logo elements appear in 100% black.
3. Solid White Version: Used on dark or black backgrounds. All logo elements appear in white.
For Partners:
Always request usage permission before including the RYCM logo in public communications.
RYCM’s brand mark should be used prominently when RYCM is a primary partner or funder.
